Audience
The Audience metric tracks how many viewers are watching your video during a specific period and at specific timestamps. This allows you to pinpoint exactly when viewers are dropping off, so you can make strategic adjustments to retain attention.
For example, you can clearly see how many viewers reach your offer section—and how many leave immediately afterward. This is incredibly valuable when evaluating the effectiveness of your message or call to action.
Conversions
Conversions are tracked using our built-in conversion tracking feature. Learn more about conversions here.
Similar to audience data, this metric tells you how many viewers completed a desired action—such as making a purchase—within a given time frame and video timestamp.
This is crucial data. It reveals exactly when your viewers begin to convert. By visually analyzing how your audience and conversion metrics intersect, you can make more informed decisions about the structure and timing of your Video Sales Letter (VSL).
See the example below where the audience graph intersects with the conversion graph.
Skip & Rewind Heatmaps
Heatmaps are one of the most visually insightful tools in the Metrics View. They show you exactly which parts of your video are being skipped or rewound, using color intensity to indicate viewer behavior:
Brighter and more intense colors = higher activity (more skipping or rewinding)
Lighter or less intense colors = lower activity
Understanding these patterns helps you spot key engagement signals. For instance, if viewers consistently skip over your offer section, you might need to rework how it’s presented. If they rewind before the Call to Action, that could signal interest or confusion—both of which are actionable insights.
