One way to get an approximate is to take your video size in GB × number of plays (Make sure the video size is in GB!)

However, you also need to keep in mind that a lot of factors influence this number. You bandwidth usage will change depending on the quality of your video, as well as your engagement (how long people watch into it).

As a rule of thumb, most of our users will use 25MB/play.

We know this can get confusing, so until our CTO builds our bandwidth calculator, feel free to start a chat with us.

On another note, you should be happily surprised that you use a lot less bandwidth with Vidalytics, because we use true adaptive bitrate streaming.

And unlike other platforms that claim to use it but can only offer it on a small portion of device types, we play every single video of yours via adaptive bitrate streaming. So it is always fast and doesn’t needlessly drive up your bandwidth costs.

Keep in mind!
If you go over your bandwidth, you’ll be billed a few cents per GB that you go over. You can check the different rates, depending on the plan you've chosen, here.
