Invite Your Team During Signup

Start Collaborating from Day One

Getting started with Vidalytics just got easier. New account owners can now invite their entire team during the signup process, so collaboration begins immediately.

Instead of creating an account and then navigating to settings to add users later, admins can invite teammates directly inside the onboarding flow and assign permission levels before the account is fully created.

This helps teams start working together from Day 1.

Invite Your Team During Signup

A new onboarding step allows account owners to add teammates while creating their account.

You can:

  • Enter teammate email addresses

  • Assign permission levels

  • Send invites instantly

  • Finish signup with your team already onboarded

Invited users receive an email invitation and can complete their own registration to access the account.

Permission Presets

Each invited user can be assigned a permission preset before the invite is sent.

  • Visitor role is selected by default

  • Roles can be changed during the invite process

  • Permissions apply once the user finishes registration

Seat-Aware Onboarding

The system automatically respects your plan seat limits.

  • Invite only as many users as your plan allows

  • Seat warnings appear if limits are exceeded

  • Additional users require a plan upgrade

Streamlined Team Setup

Everything happens in one flow:

  • No need to visit account settings later

  • No waiting to add users after signup

  • Immediate collaboration once the account is created

How to Invite Your Team During Signup

  1. Begin creating your Vidalytics account.

  2. When you reach the Invite Your Team step during signup:

  3. Enter the email addresses of your teammates.

  4. For each user, select a permission preset (Visitor is selected by default).

  5. Add as many users as your plan’s seat limit allows.

  6. Click Send Invites to finalize the invitations.

  7. Your teammates will receive an email to complete their registration and access the account.

If you skip this step, you can always invite users later from Account Settings → User Management.

Rules & Limitations

  • Total users (including the account owner) cannot exceed your plan’s seat limit

  • Only valid and unique email addresses are accepted

  • Each invited user must have at least the Visitor role assigned

  • Duplicate email entries are not allowed

  • Only account owners/admins see the invite step during onboarding

Note:

Not Supported:

  • Bypassing seat limits

  • Bulk CSV uploads during signup

  • Creating custom permission roles during onboarding

Edge Cases & Expected Behavior

  • Duplicate emails will be rejected automatically.

  • Invalid email formats must be corrected before continuing.

  • If seat limits are exceeded, users must be removed or the plan upgraded.

  • If you skip inviting users during signup, they can be added later from User Management.

  • If an invite was sent in error, permissions must be adjusted after the user completes registration.
