People want information fast. If your video is longer than expected, how do you keep viewers engaged from the very first second? That is exactly the question we asked when we came up with the **Rapid Engage Bar**. 🏎️💨 #### **What Is the Rapid Engage Bar?** The Rapid Engage Bar is a simulated seeking bar that starts off moving quickly at the beginning of your video — making it appear shorter to your viewers right away and hooking their attention from the start. As the video progresses, the bar gradually slows down toward the actual playback speed. Visually, it looks just like a regular seeking bar, so nothing changes for your viewers on the surface. But it behaves very differently.  **Notes:** - The Rapid Engage Bar **replaces the standard seeking bar** and cannot be used alongside it - It **removes the video time display** from the controls automatically, to avoid confusion for viewers - It **cannot be used together with the ReVisit Seeking Bar** - Viewers **cannot skip ahead** in the video when the Rapid Engage Bar is enabled #### **How to Set It Up** 1. **Access your Video Settings** — go to your video library, select the video you want to edit, and click **Edit** to open the Video Settings page 2. **Open Style Settings** — locate and click the **Style** tab 3. **Go to Seek Bar** — find the **Seek Bar** section within Style Settings 4. **Select Rapid Engage Bar** — choose **Rapid Engage Bar** from the available options to enable it on your video ![Captura de pantalla 2026-06-16 a la(s) 12.20.35 p.m.](https://help.vidalytics.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Captura%20de%20pantalla%202026-06-16%20a%20la(s)%2012.20.35%20p.m..png?width=670&height=331&name=Captura%20de%20pantalla%202026-06-16%20a%20la(s)%2012.20.35%20p.m..png) Remember to **Publish** your video for the changes to take effect. #### **Customizing the Speed** By default, the Rapid Engage Bar is set to the speed we recommend for the best viewer experience — and in most cases, the default is all you need. However, if you want more control, you can customize the speed separately for **desktop** and **mobile** versions of your video. This gives you the flexibility to fine-tune the effect for each device independently, in case you want it to move a little faster on one platform vs. the other. 💡 **Tip:** We recommend starting with the default speed before adjusting.
