Optimize Your Videos from Day One

The Vid Settings Wizard is a guided, step-by-step experience designed to help you optimize your videos immediately after upload.

Instead of navigating through multiple settings or guessing what to enable, the wizard walks you through the most impactful features — so your video is set up for engagement, leads, and conversions from the start.

What It Does

The Vid Settings Wizard simplifies video setup by:

  • Guiding you through key optimization steps

  • Recommending features based on your video type

  • Allowing you to enable high-impact settings in just a few clicks

  • Providing a final summary with quick actions

How It Works

  1. Upload a new video to Vidalytics.

  2. Open Vid Settings.

  3. The wizard will automatically launch for new or unconfigured videos.

  4. Select your video type:

    • VSL (Video Sales Letter)

    • Other (Webinar, Demo, Content, etc.)

  5. Follow the 3-step optimization flow:

    • Enable recommended features

    • Review simple explanations

  6. Complete the setup and review the summary screen.

  7. Copy your embed code or preview your optimized video.

Key Features 

Guided Video Setup

The Vid Settings Wizard launches automatically after you upload a video, walking you through the most impactful optimizations without you having to dig through settings pages or know what to look for. The entire experience is built directly into Vid Settings — no extra steps, no separate tools.

Video-Type-Based Recommendations

The Wizard adapts its recommendations based on the type of video you are setting up, so every suggestion is relevant to your goal.

For VSL videos, the Wizard recommends:

  • Smart Autoplay
  • A "Get The Offer" CTA
  • Exit CTA or Exit Thumbnail

For other video types (Webinar, Demo, Content), the Wizard recommends:

  • Smart Autoplay
  • A "Learn More" CTA
  • Focused Fullscreen on mobile

3-Step Optimization Flow

Each step in the Wizard is designed to be clear and actionable. For every recommended setting, you will see what the feature does, why it matters for your video's performance, and a way to enable it instantly — all in one place.

Completion Summary and Quick Actions

Once you complete the setup, you get a summary of everything you enabled and a set of quick actions to keep moving:

  • Preview your video
  • Copy your embed code
  • Jump straight into advanced settings for further customization

Notes: 

  • Available on all plans.

  • The wizard appears only once per video.

  • If skipped or completed, it cannot be restarted.

  • Progress is not saved mid-flow.

  • If interrupted, it restarts from Step 1.
