Need to update a video in your Smart Vid flow? You can replace any step with a different video in just a few clicks — without rebuilding your paths, reconnecting your flow, or redoing any of your configuration. Everything stays exactly as it was, just with a new video in that spot.
How to Replace a Step
Open your Smart Vids library — locate Smart Vids in the left-side menu and click to access your library.
Open the Smart Vid — find the Smart Vid you want to update and click the edit icon to open the canvas editor.
Replace the step — hover over the step you want to replace and click the three vertical dots that appear on the step card. Select Replace Video from the menu, choose the video you want to use from your library, and click Replace Video to confirm.
That's it — your step has been replaced and your flow remains intact. All the paths, connections, and question settings from the original step carry over automatically.

Note: Replacing a step only affects that step inside your Smart Vid. The original video in your library remains completely unchanged — its settings, stats, and embed code are not impacted in any way.
Tip: This is especially useful when you need to update a video with a new recording, a revised script, or a seasonal offer — without having to rebuild the entire flow from scratch.
Remember to Publish your Smart Vid after replacing a step so your viewers experience the updated version.
