Save time and effort by importing your videos directly from JW Player into Vidalytics. Instead of manually downloading and re-uploading each video, you can migrate your library efficiently in just a few steps.
Availability & Restrictions
- There is a limit of 100 imported videos per import. If you need to import more than 100 videos at a time, please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team at hi@vidalytics.com
Before You Start
Make sure you are logged in to your JW Player account before beginning the import process. You will also need your JW Player Secret Key (token) and Site ID handy, as these will be required to connect your account to Vidalytics.
How to Import Your Videos
1. Open the Upload section — in your Vidalytics account, click the blue upload icon in the left-side menu to open the Upload section.
2. Select JW Player as your import source — inside the Upload section, you will see two options: uploading a video from your computer, or importing from an external source. Choose the import option and select JW Player.
3. Connect your JW Player account — a pop-up will appear to connect your JW Player account. Enter your Secret Key (token) and Site ID to authenticate and complete the connection.
Note: If you are not already logged in to JW Player, you will be prompted to enter your credentials before the connection completes.
4. Select and import your videos — once connected, you will see a list of all available videos from your JW Player account. Select the video or videos you want to import and confirm your selection.
That's it! Your videos are now inside Vidalytics and ready to be optimized and analyzed.
