Unbounce does not support third-party video players through a native video element, so embedding a Vidalytics video is done using the Custom HTML element. The process is quick and straightforward.
Note: Your video will not be visible in the Unbounce page editor preview. It will only appear on your live published page — always test on the published version to confirm it is displaying correctly.
How to Embed Your Video
Open your page in the Unbounce editor — select an existing page or choose a template to create a new one. This will open the page editor.
Add the Custom HTML element — in the left-side menu, locate the Custom HTML element and drag and drop it onto your page in the position where you want your video to appear.
Paste your embed code — once the Custom HTML element is added, its settings panel will open automatically. Paste your Vidalytics embed code into the editor and click Save Code.
Position and test — adjust the placement of the Custom HTML element on your page until it is exactly where you want it. Once you are happy with the layout, publish your page and open the live version to confirm the video is loading and playing correctly.
Tip: Since the video is not visible in the editor, use Unbounce's Preview or publish to a test URL first to check the video's size and position before sending it live to your audience.
