Your Smart Vid flow can grow as your funnel needs evolve. Adding new steps is as simple as connecting a video to one of your answer choices — the canvas updates automatically and you can keep building from there.
How to Add a New Step
Open your Smart Vid — navigate to Smart Vids in the left-side menu, locate the Smart Vid you want to expand, and open it to access the canvas.
Open the Step Settings — hover over the step you want to build from and click the edit (pen) icon to open its settings.
Go to the Question tab — click on Question to open the question and answer choices for that step.
Add a video to an answer choice — in the choices menu, select or add a video from your library to one of the answer choices. As soon as a video is connected to a choice, a new step will appear automatically on your canvas.
Keep building — go back to the canvas and click on your new step to open its settings and add its own question and choices. Repeat this process for as many steps as your flow requires. There is no limit to how many steps you can add.
Note: When you add a video from your library to a Smart Vid step, Vidalytics creates an independent duplicate of that video for use inside the Smart Vid. Any changes you make to the original video in your library will not affect the Smart Vid, and changes inside the Smart Vid will not affect the original.
Tip: After adding several new steps, zoom out on the canvas to get a full picture of your flow and make sure all the connections make sense before republishing.
Remember to Publish your Smart Vid after adding or updating steps so your viewers experience the latest version of your flow.
