How Folders Work in Vidalytics
How to create, organize, and manage folders to keep your video library clean and structured.
Folders let you organize your Vidalytics video library in whatever way makes sense for your workflow — by offer, campaign, client, funnel, or any other structure you prefer. Here is everything you need to know about using them.
Creating a Folder
Go to My Vids — navigate to your video library from the left-side menu.
Create a new folder — click the folder icon to create a new folder, give it a name, and hit Save. Your new folder will appear in your library and is ready to use immediately.
Moving Videos Into a Folder
You have two ways to move videos into a folder — use whichever feels faster for you:
Using the Actions dropdown — check the box next to each video you want to move, click Actions, select Move to Folder, and choose your destination folder.
Drag and drop — simply drag a video and drop it directly into the folder you want it in.
Moving Videos Between Folders
Moving a video from one folder to another works exactly the same way — select the video, use the Actions dropdown to move it, or drag and drop it into the new folder.
Tip: Reorganizing your videos at any time will not affect their embed codes, settings, or stats. Everything stays intact — you are just changing where the video lives in your library.
Creating Subfolders
You can nest folders inside other folders for deeper organization. There is no limit on how many levels deep you can go, making this especially useful if you manage a large library across multiple clients, campaigns, or teams.
