The amount will vary based on: - **Video resolution**: Higher resolutions consume more bandwidth. - **Watch time**: The longer a viewer watches, the more bandwidth is used.. However, Vidalytics transcodes your videos to ensure they are fully optimized for all devices and browsers, providing an efficient streaming experience. ### **Bandwidth Usage Estimation** As a general rule of thumb, most users will use approximately **60MB of bandwidth per video play**. If you want to measure real-time bandwidth usage for a specific viewer, follow these steps: 1. Navigate to the page where your video is hosted. 2. Open the **developer console** in your browser. 3. Switch to the **Network** tab. 4. Filter for **“vidalytics”** requests only. 5. Check the number at the bottom of the Network tab.
