We know that in some cases you wish to display a different version of your video maybe depending on the screen format (mobile or desktop), language, returning viewers, etc, this to be able to target a specific segment.
This is the reason why we came up with with Vid Conditions as one of our most dynamic features.
Setting up a Vid Condition on your Video is quite simple, just follow these steps to do so.
1. Access your Video Settings: Access your video library and select the video in question, click Edit and this will take you to your Video Settings.
2. Access Your Embed Settings: On the top right corner Click Embed/Share button to open the Embed popup from the Vid Settings.
3. Enable Vid Conditions: Enable the Vid Conditions, this will show you the options available for you to set the IF/THEN rules to define the audience segments and corresponding video content.
4. Select the Condition: Set the video conditions of your choosing, with Vid Conditions you have the option to show a specific video depending on:
Screen Width
Operating System
Returning Viewer
Language
URL Parameters
Video Tag
5. Set the Value for the Condition: Set the value for the condition you have selected this will complete the setup and have your IF/THEN variables all set to trigger the video in the specific conditions selected.
6. Publish your Video: As always make sure to publish your video for the changes to apply and show.
And you are done! Now you have set a Vid Condition on your video that will allow you to target a specific audience with a specific video.
Note: You can add multiple conditions to the same video. This will allow you to use multiple variants on the same video and using the same embed code.
🚫 Restrictions: This feature is available starting at Pro Plan. Free and Starter Plan users do not have access to this feature.
