Here's how to set up a scenario for a Video Trigger, but setting up Play Gates work the same way, so you can use the same process 😉
Go to Scenarios in the left panel
Click Create a new scenario
Click the Plus button in the middle and search for Vidalytics
Once you click Vidalytics, select Video Trigger (under Searches)
Under Connections, if this is your first time connecting Vidalytics, you will need to add a new connection, so click Add next to the connection select field.
Type a connection name and click Continue to log in with your Vidalytics account
Under Tag, choose a tag you created on Video Settings page for any of your videos
Leave the scheduling time in minutes at 15
Finally, click OK.
Click on the clock in the bottom left corner of the Vidalytics module to select to run the scenario At regular intervals every X minutes (this is set to 15 by default if you are on a free plan) and select OK.
Click again on the module to make sure that the scheduling time in minutes is the same as set in the previous step
Connect other module by clicking a plus bubble next to Vidalytics module to set up a new module.
Now Vidalytics will output new watched events every 15 minutes. It will output an empty array if there were no events and this will trigger the other module with empty output from Vidalytics. You probably don’t want this behaviour so you should set up a filter to ignore empty outputs from Vidalytics.
Click the wrench icon between the two modules and click Set up a filter. Give it a meaningful name like: Ignore empty data. Click on the first field and choose Total number of bundles. Click the select field below and select Greater than under Numeric operations. Finally, enter 0 in the last field. Your filter should look like this:
Once you setup the filter, click Run once to test the scenario.
If you see green success checkmarks, you set up everything correctly!
Finally, enable Scheduling in the bottom left corner of the screen.
