Uploading Videos to Vidalytics: A Complete Guide

When you first set up your account in Vidalytics, one of the essential tasks is uploading your videos to the platform. Whether you're creating Video Sales Letters, educational content, or marketing assets, your video content must be properly uploaded for optimal performance. This article outlines best practices for uploading videos and provides a comprehensive overview of the steps involved.

Uploading Videos to Vidalytics

Vidalytics currently offers several flexible ways to upload your videos:

  1. Upload Directly from Your Computer
    Select a video file directly from your local storage and upload it to Vidalytics.

  2. Upload from Google Drive*

  3. Upload from Dropbox
    Choose and upload video files directly from your Dropbox account.

*Note: This feature is currently under maintenance. Users will be notified once it becomes available again.

Steps to Upload Your Video

  1. Access the Upload Section
    On the left-side menu of your Vidalytics dashboard, click on the Upload icon.

  2. Choose Your Upload Method
    Select from the available options—Direct Upload, Google Drive (if available), or Dropbox.

  3. Select or Drag Your File
    You can either click Select File to choose your video or simply drag and drop it into the upload window.

  4. Monitor the Upload Progress
    A progress bar will appear showing how much of your video has been uploaded. Once the upload is complete, the video will begin processing.

  5. Video Processing
    Processing times may vary depending on video length and file size. While your video is processing, you can begin configuring your video’s settings such as interactivity, captions, and call-to-actions.

Importing Videos from External Platforms

In addition to uploading, Vidalytics also allows you to import videos hosted on other platforms. This feature is particularly useful if your video library already resides on third-party services.
