You can set your videos to expire at a specific day / time. This is a great feature to use with limited offers, so people see you're not bluffing when you say your content will be available only for a short time.
To use this feature, go to the 'Expire Video' section on your Settings page and follow the steps below:
1. Access your Video Settings: Access your video library and select the video in question, click Edit and this will take you to your Video Settings.
2. Access Playback Settings: Locate the Playback tab and access to open the settings. Scroll down and click on "Expire Video".
3. Enable Expire Video: Once you open the Expire video settings you need to enable this option to see the options and settings available. Enable it by checking off 'Expire on set date'.
4. Set Expire Video Settings:
Add the expiration date and time in the format yyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss
Add a Top text to serve as a headline on your video (optional)
Add a Bottom text to give more info for your viewers (optional)
Add a link to be used on your Bottom text redirect your viewers to another page (optional)
If you added a link, select if you want it to open in a new tab
Change the text and drop shadow colors for your text
5. Publish Video: Publish your video to see your changes live.
β
βAnd you are done! Once you Publish your video it is now set to expire at a specific date.
Note: Please keep in mind that our Expire Video feature is set to UTC time.
