How it Works:

Having an Exit Thumbnail is one of the best practices we recommend to achieve the best performance on your VSL. An Exit thumbnail will allow you to show a message and/or Call to Action to anyone pausing the video.

This is a great way to take advantage of this moment and have them reconsider leaving, instead they might take action and convert!

How to Set Up:

1. Access Video Settings: Access your video library and select the video in question, click Edit and this will take you to your Video Settings.

2. Access Thumbnail Settings: Go to Style and scroll down to locate the Exit Thumbnail Settings.

3. Enable Exit Thumbnail: Once you locate the Exit thumbnail settings make sure to enable this option by toggling the button on. This will turn "on" the Exit Thumbnail and show the options available.

4. Set an Exit Thumbnail: You have to options either to select a specific part of your video as your Exit Thumbnail or to upload a specific image created for this purpose. Once you upload the image or select the frame you have create your Exit Thumbnail

And you are done! Remember to always publish your video for changes to take effect.

💡 Tip: Size we recommend for the Exit Thumbnail is 1280 x 720 px. Also please do consider to leave a space in the middle of your design for the play button to show.

You can also use GIFs for more attention-grabbing effects!
