Having multiple videos on your site is common, for example if you have several video testimonials you might want to have those all on the same page.

You can add multiple Vidalytics videos on a single page on your website(s). Please consider the following steps and notes when adding multiple videos on the same site.

1. First Video: You'll be adding the first video as any other video, no need to to anything different for the first one. Your first/most important video should use a regular embed type, so you should leave the checkbox unchecked in that case.

Note: You cannot add the same video twice on the same page. If you wish to have the same content twice on your page, please duplicate your original video, and use the two different embeds; one with the standard code, and one with the multiple one.

2. Second Video and More: For the Second Video and on going forward make sure you use the multiple videos code for multiple videos on your page. See below:

3. Update All Videos: When a single page has multiple videos published (from inside Vidalytics) at different times, you might end up with different versions of our player on your embed codes.

What does this mean and how does it affect you? Old versions can interfere with the new versions if the older ones are below the newer ones in the code/page.

The solution: If you placed your videos on the same page at different moments (let's say, a month or more in between), you should republish all the videos used so there are not interferences and they all play seamlessly.

💡 Tip: If you ever republish a video with this 'Multiple Videos' code, make sure you republish the main video on the page as well, to make sure none of your videos miss any new features.
