Does Storybar replace the standard seek bar?

Yes. Only one seek bar type can be active at a time.
Enabling Storybar disables the Standard Seek Bar and Rapid Engage Bar.

Can I use Storybar with Chapters?

No. Chapters and Storybar cannot be used together.

How many chunks can I create?

You can create:

  • Minimum: 1 chunk

  • Maximum: 10 chunks

  • Each chunk must be at least 5 seconds long.

What happens if a viewer skips forward?

If navigation is enabled:

  • Viewers can jump between chunks.

  • They always land at the start of the selected chunk.

  • Rewind and fast-forward can cross chunk boundaries.

What’s the difference between Step-by-Step and Stories Grid?

Step-by-Step reveals chunks progressively.
Stories Grid shows all chunks upfront with equal width.

Will Storybar affect my analytics?

No. Storybar does not change how plays, retention, or conversions are tracked. It only changes the visual navigation experience.

Is Storybar mobile-friendly?

Yes. Storybar is designed to feel intuitive on touch devices and mimics familiar Stories-style navigation.

Can I reposition the Storybar?

Yes. You can choose whether it appears above or below controls (depending on configuration).

Does Storybar remove normal player features?

No. Resume playback, captions, CTAs, Play Gates, and standard player behavior continue working normally.

What happens if I switch back to Standard Seek Bar?

Storybar will be disabled, and your player will return to the selected seek bar type.
