Storybar is a new seek bar type that transforms a long video into creator-defined chunks, similar to Stories-style navigation.
Instead of one long timeline, viewers see structured progress broken into parts. This makes webinars, VSLs, and demos feel shorter, reduces “this is too long” bounce, and builds curiosity to watch the next section.

How to Enable Storybar
Open Player Settings and Select the Sleek Theme.
Navigate to Seek Bar Type.
Select Storybar.
Split the video into parts by defining start times.
Choose your display style:
Step-by-Step
Stories Grid
(Optional) Configure position and navigation behavior.
Save and publish.
Preview to confirm chunk timing feels natural.
Key Features
New Seek Bar Type
“Storybar” is available in Player Settings → Seek Bar Type.
It replaces:
Standard Seek Bar
Rapid Engage Bar (REB)
These bar types are mutually exclusive — enabling Storybar disables the others.
Creator-Defined Chunks (Chapters-Style Editor)
You split your video into parts by defining:
Start time for each chunk
End time automatically inferred from the next chunk (or video end)
Guardrails:
Minimum 5 seconds per part (prevents flicker)
Maximum 10 parts
Default offset: 5 seconds (to speed up setup)
Two Display Styles
Step-by-Step
Only reveals the next chunk after completing the current one
Remaining timeline expands progressively
Creates “just one more step” momentum
Stories Grid
Shows all chunks at equal width
Classic Instagram Stories vibe
Viewers see full structure immediately
Story Navigation (Viewer Behavior)
When navigation is enabled:
Viewers can seek normally within the current chunk
Tap screen edges to move left/right between chunks
Tap visible chunks (Stories Grid mode only)
Rewind/FF can cross chunk boundaries
Transitions are instant
Viewers always land at the start of the selected chunk
Core player features remain intact:
Resume playback
Closed Captions
CTAs and Play Gates

Note: Storybar cannot be used with Chapters Feature at the same time.
