Skips: Are counted for any time a viewer toggles the progress bar forward to skip a specific part or section of your video.
Rewinds: Are counted for any time a viewer toggles the progress bar backwards to rewind a specific part or section of your video.
How to read a Heatmap?
Heatmaps are a great way to visualize data and they are easy to read. Basically you can identify darker and lighter sections in the map or bar of your video. The darker areas are the areas where the highest number of viewers skipped or rewinded the video. Lighter areas are where less people took either action.
Having this way of looking at this information will help you make any changes or updates that might be needed to increase conversions on your video.
